Tents for over 120 events

Published in Trade Fairs International, issue 2/April 2010

An increasing number of Russion events now rely on German know-how

One of those responsible is Röder Zeltsysteme und Service AG from Büdingen. In 2006 the company from Hessen founded a subsidiary in the Russian capital. In the same year Roder OOO, Moscow, created a venue for Russian Fashin Week in Moscow´s Gorky Park – on a space of over 6,000 sqare metres. Roder Moscow has now provided tents for over 120 events and has long become one of Russia´s leading providers. One of last year´s absolute highlights was the 8th international Investement Forum in the Olympic city of Sochi on the Black Sea. There tents were set up on a total space of over 15,000 sqare metres. The large and mediumsized constructions were used for conferences, the press centre, presentation and exhibition space.  Smaller tents served as cafés and admission zones. Another major project of 2009 was the 9th International Aviation and Space Salon in Zhukovsky near Moscow. Roder was the official tent provider and embedded the exhibition in a giantic tent landscape. For this it built huge tents of all sizes ranging from 30 x 50 to 50 x 70 metres. They served as a venue for exhibition and conference activities while medium and smaller sized tents accommodated food zones, sponsors and registration areas.
