5. World Water Forum: Istanbul 2009
"Bridging Divides for Water" - the motto of the 5th World Water Forum held in Istanbul from 16 to 22 March.
The World Water Forum, which was established in 1997 by the World Water Council, aims to raise awareness and understanding of water supply problems and to promote water management at the political and social level. Members of the World Water Council include representatives from industry, government ministries, science, international financial institutes, the UN and local governments.
For the World Water Forum in Istanbul, RÖDER Germany cooperated with the subsidiary RÖDER Turkey to erect a tented facility measuring 40 x 205 m with 6m side height along with additional smaller service and supply tents.
