CHIO 2008
The CHIO – the world's most difficult equestrian tournament as a stepping stone to the Olympic Games
This year, the CHIO Aachen represented the final spurt towards the Olympic riding competition taking place in Hong Kong in August. Approximately 500 horses and 500 riders, drivers and vaulters from more than 20 nations participated from June 27 to July 6. The contest in the five disciplines Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Four-in-hand Driving and Vaulting, attracting far more than 330,000 visitors, extended over a period of ten rather than six days this year. The exhibition area with around 160 exhibitors provided for an interesting variety and shopping facilities.
RÖDER tents with a gross floor area about more than 13.300m² from a 3x3m partytent at CHIO-Village up to a 15x75m bigtent conducted in two-storey for the Campion Circle made sure that the ambience was adequate.
