FIA World Rally Championship
The WRC World Rally Championship was held on the beautiful Costa Smeralda on the island of Sardinia on the occasion of the SUPERMAG RALLY ITALIA SARDINIA in 2004. Thanks to a RÖDER tent design in the rally’s service park, where the exhausted cars were serviced several times between the demanding time trials, the event organizers were able to create a very spacious and inviting public area.
The centerpiece of the facility, which was erected for the first time in this configuration, was a very voluminous wine tent, the GigaQuattro with transparent roof elements, combined with several high points and a semi-octagonal hip at the main entrance. The entire facility was bordered by 5x5m pagodas, which served as exhibition and sales tents. The visitors were treated to a splendid combination of captivating automobile technology in its purest form, with the opportunity to take a relaxed walk in the Mediterranean ambience.
