Pope Benedict XVI´s in Regensburg

Pope Benedict XVI's visit to his hometown and to Regensburg on 11th September 2006 was also an additional highlight this year. Over 250,000 people were expected. Yet despite the finest weather, far fewer visitors attended the joint church service. For the international faithful, an extensive infrastructure was built up. Two large tents 40x100m and 40x85m served as hospitality suites as well as a press centre.
